The program provides services to adults with mental illnesses to facilitate the development of their independent living and social skills. The population served in the PRP includes those in homeless shelters, transitional housing programs, and permanent housing programs. The program is funded through Medicaid fee for service and monitored by the Prince George’s County Mental Health Authority.
Eligibility criteria include:
- Must be 18 and older
- Must have Mental Health Diagnosis
- Homeless with mental health diagnosis
- Must be stable and able to function semi-independently
Services offered include, but are not limited to:
- Individualized Rehabilitation Plan
- Independent Living Skills Training
- Mental Health Education
- Behavior Management Plan
- Entitlement Maintenance
- Nutrition Education
- Employment Assistance
- Transportation Assistance
